If you work hard under the sun, you don't look like Chinese.

I think some houses in Tiong Hua Road, Tong Sang Road, etc., look like shorter long houses.

One thing special about Sarawak is that sometime we don't know their race until they speak their own dialect. Like me, they alway though I am Chinese.. and most of the time if they don't know me, they will speak Chinese to me...

stp:The west has to learn a lot from the east....they shoud come to Sarawak more often.

eiling:And you would be surprised that many Ibans and Malays and other Dayaks can speak very good mandarin and some local dialects.

Anon: You are correct!

Hardy: Many thought that I am a non Chinese! But to me, after half a century of Merdeka, we all should rightfully be called Malaysian now.

Hi Michael, sorry for my late reply. You should be able to get the names of the longhouses in Julau area from the Julau District Office. If I am not wrong, there are more than 300 longhouses in Julau. Will you be back in Sibu to do the project? You can use my photos in the blog, but would appreciate you give me photo credits.
