Swiftlet Ranching

I have just created a new blog solely dedicated to swiftlet ranching or farming. I am getting very excited now as after two years of monitoring, I have finally decided to venture into this business in a bigger way. Currently our group has 5 bird houses in Sibu, Sarikei and Pulau Burit. Negotiations on two new ones are in the final stages. Please check out my first posting at http://www.borneobirdnest.blogspot.com/ The above bird houses do not belong to our group. They are put up here to let you have a clearer picture of how a bird house would look like.

STP:Hahaha, counting birds will be ok. No money to count yet. It will take 2-3 years for the first harvest, provided the fxxxing thieves do not harvest ahead of you!Do you have spare or vacant shophouses for this venture?

bengbeng: Thanks Bengbeng. You can also think about this business now. A few years down the road it could be a good source of income.

Dear PH

Nice to hear all about your new ventures. Give me a big discount when I buy some birds' nest for my old age....

Good venture - so far it is considered environmentally friendly and won't cause global warming and can provide good employment opportunities for the needy.

You have to sell the premium birds' nest to STP at towkay price.

abana: Jack of all trade, master of none! hahaha.

sarawakiana:Special discounts for all bogggers in future. Hope more rural farmers, especially those in the coastal areas will take up this new farming in the near future.
