Imagine our leaders riding this mini motorbike

With the recent sharp increase in fuel price, many people have changed their lifestyles. A few of my friends have also switched to using motorbike to go to work, only using the cars when it is very necesary. This 60cc mini motorbike attracted much interest during a recent trade fair. The China made "Jincheng" brand motorbike carries a Honda engine. This piece of machine is not cheap, if I am not mistaken, it is selling at over RM3,000. When the government increased the fuel price recently, some leaders told us to change our lifestyles. How many poor citizens can afford to buy a small machine like this which could be a whole year's salary? So are we going to manufacture mini motorbikes or electric bicycles and sell them at affordable prices? When I took these pictures, I was imagining our PM and DPM going to their offices on made in Malaysia mini motorbikes and each carries a banner, "Now everyone can drive". That will certainly be leadership by example!

Very cute! I wonder whether it's hard to balance?

cc: haha, yes it is cute. I don't think it is easy to balance for big-sized people!

rubberseeds, when Malaysia turns into an oil-importing country in three years' time, we would feel the pressure even more.

Tony:How about our gas reserves? Is it also depleting in 3 years time? We are not fully utilizing the gas now...so much is being wasted

rubberseeds, we are running out of oil to meet domestic needs in 3 years' time. As for the gas reserve, the exploration life is longer. G7 woke up to the oil crisis in 70s and went on a massive programme to upgrade the energy usage efficiency. We are already 30 years late.
