Small Is Beautiful

This yellow and black cement block with a white circle surrounding it is actually a roundabout. Isn't it simple and cute? It is the first time I see such a small and unique roundabout. I believe it efficiently performs its duties in the middle of these 4 streets just like any other big and expensive roundabouts which could occupy up to 1-2 acres of prime land in the city.

That's very cute! A space saver too!

CC, certainly it saves lots of space. But I don't think if the land is big enough they will build a small one there.

hahaha...very cute. I think our politicians feel that they are cleverer than the engineers around here. We have huge roundabouts and traffic jams. We also have potholes which never seemed to be repaired properly. they surface anytime and old ladies can drop into them and get killed by huge MPVs driving with no eyes...

I want to feel secure and safe....

tsk....tsk...tsk...
