Niah Caves









Niah Caves in Miri, Sarawak, is an important archaeological site in the world. It is a World Heritage Site where remains of human and animals dating back to about 40,000 years ago have been found and documented here. It is reached by travelling by road (about 130 km from Miri) to Batu Niah, followed by a short boat trip and a 3 km walk on raised plankwalk. Accommodation and food are available at the park HQ or at Batu Niah Town.
