Two Past Prime Minister Of Malaysia in Sibu

I believe we all still remember our past Prime Ministers....we just had 4 past Prime Ministers since independence 50 years ago. Here are photos of our 3rd Prime Minister Tun Hussein Onn and the 4th Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir. In the first picture Tun Hussein was visiting the Rajang Port in Sibu in the late 70s. First and second from left are Tan Sri Amar Sim Kheng Hong, a past Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak (from SUPP) and Tan Sri Ong Kee Hui, a past Federal Minister (from Supp) Both had passed away many years ago. Second from right is Datuk Dunstan Endawie who was also a past Deputy Chief Minister of Sarawak (from SNAP) and at right is Tun Rahman Yakub, a past Chief Minister and Governor of Sarawak (from PBB). Tun Rahman has retired from politics and is living in Kuala Lumpur now. One of his daughters who made her debut in politics has won a parliamentary seat uncontested on nomination day on February 24, 2008. Tun Dr. Mahathir was seen here with his wife boarding a plane leaving Sibu for Kuala Lumpur. In his 22 years as Prime Minister, he had officially visited Sibu a few times.
